During World War II he worked in an aircraft defense plant in Kansas City. He also owned and operated Ace Antique Refinishing in Calhoun and Fair Play for many years. Bob worked as a school custodian and painting contractor most of his life. He was born in Merriam, Kansas to Orval F. (Bob) Haas, 87, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of the Bolivar/Fair Play area, passed away Main Miller, Missouri.
